I felt like I had traveled back in time when I saw Miles Murphy walking across Red Square. Murphy describes his outfit as ‘historic 1920s.’

“I look at old movies and pictures,” Murphy said about sources of inspiration for his style.

The jacket—stuffed with school papers—and casually unbuttoned shirt are from Rugby.

The skinny jeans are from the Swedish college town Linnkoping.

The shoes are used from Value Village. The briefcase—which Murphy says he uses for classwork—is also from VV.

And the mustache is all Murphy’s own, five weeks in the making.
